Mission of Hope Initiative was founded in 2021 by two co-founders who were below 35 at the time of establishment. Today, MOHI's youth-led Board holds responsibility for governance oversight, project plans, budgets, safeguarding, monitoring and financial accountability. Young women, disability inclusion, civic participation, community mobilisation and digital communication are represented through specific Board portfolios. Youth leadership at MOHI is intergenerational: young leaders work with experienced professionals, older persons, families and community structures while retaining genuine responsibility for decisions.
