Youth-Led Leadership
Young people at MOHI do not sit at the edge of decisions. They hold voting authority, functional portfolios and accountability responsibilities.
Youth-led means more than youth participation.
MOHI was founded by two co-founders who were both below 35 in 2021. Its current ten-member voting Board is youth-led and holds responsibility for project plans, budgets, material revisions, safeguarding oversight, financial reporting and major accountability decisions.
- Young women hold governance and financial leadership portfolios.
- Disability inclusion and accessibility have a dedicated Board portfolio.
- Youth leaders oversee community mobilisation, safe participation, civic participation and communications.
- No individual may unilaterally approve spending outside agreed procedures.

Leadership that is inclusive and intergenerational.
Youth authority
Young Board members vote, review workplans and oversee organisational responsibilities.
Professional support
Executive leaders, staff, advisers and technical specialists support quality and compliance.
Community accountability
Decisions must remain connected to the realities, dignity and feedback of communities.
